Shipping for puppies is an additional $275.00 to anywhere in the U.S.  This  includes airfare, vet exam, health certificate, travel crate and transportation to airport using Continental Airlines. 
     For a second puppy in the same crate, there is a $75.00 fee. The fee covers vet exam and official health certificate.
     Continental Airlines has a climate controlled cargo area.  Puppies that are shipped usually are available for pick-up within an hour of landing.  Age that a puppy is ready for it's new home is determined by breed/size.   Bichons are ready at 6-7 weeks of age.   Puppies shipped must be 8 weeks or older.

     Delivery available- to surrounding areas. We will drive up to 2 hours (one way-a maximum 4 hours round trip) with your new puppy. We charge $25.00 an hour to cover our extra time and driving expenses.

       Shipping is a concern to some.  I hope that I can assure you that it is very safe.  We think it is easier on a new puppy to be shipped, than traveling across the country in a car.

       The airlines are just as concerned about safety of the pet as the buyer and seller.  They love pets and treat them with loving care.   I personally have never talked with a breeder or new puppy owner that can give me one incident of death or injury to a pet.  Delay of arrival can happen but most of the time the airlines pet desk will call and advise you of this delay.  This causes no injury or death to the puppy.  We tell our new buyers DO NOT WORRY.  The puppy will be fine.

               Below is what to expect to happen after purchase of puppy.

      1. Buyer will supply seller with all necessary information about who is going to be picking the puppy up at the airport.  Seller will need the exact name, address, city and phone number of the person picking up the puppy, also needed is the name of the closest major airport.  I do suggest the buyer supply the seller with 2 major airports (sometimes seller needs back up in case airlines do not take pets into the airport of choice).  If for any reason buyer is not sure of whom will be picking up the puppy, have the seller put two names on the air bill (safer for the buyer and ease for pickup by the buyer).

      2. Buyer also needs to give seller invaluable information to what day they can NOT be available for pick up of new arrival.  So when seller books the flight they will have the above information on hand and make sujre there is no problem upon arrival.

      3. The seller then will book the flight agreed upon by buyer and seller.  Seller will furnish the buyer the airlines, flight number, time of arrival, and a confirmation number (this is needed upon pick up by the buyer, also some airlines require identification upon arrival.).  We do supply buyer with a phone number (of the airlines at the airport) for you to call for directions to get your new baby.  I do suggest this be done so there is no delay in picking up your baby.

      4. Seller does request that buyer call upon arrival of the puppy so seller knows all is okay and puppy is safe in your arms.

          This is a very easy step for buyer, it is as simple as picking up any passenger at the airport and REMEMBER the puppy will be safe.  I prefer if at all possible that the puppies are sent on Continental Airlines.  We do use other airlines but Continental is the airline of choice.

         Prices of all puppies are determined by Size, Color, conformation, Gender, and Bloodline/Pedigree.  All posted prices are firm.

         Puppies can be reserved with a $200.00 non-refundable deposit. We do not hold a puppy unless a deposit has been placed or we are expecting a deposit.  Then they are held for 3-4 days.  If we do not receive the deposit in that time, the puppy will be reposted.  We are not responsible for any change of mind, so buyer must be sure when placing a deposit. 
      Please e-mail or call before placing a deposit  to make sure the puppy is still available. 
      I accept Paypal, moneyorders, cashiers checks, cash and checks (checks need 10 days to clear). 
     For deposits locally a check, paypal, or cash is accepted and the balance must be paid in full (with cash or paypal) by age puppy is ready or by pick-up date. 
      Paypal takes a couple of days, if you are picking up your puppy  and using paypal , please do so 4-5 days before pickup. 
      If shipping, balance must be paid in full (by paypal, bank cashiers check or postal money order) 1 week prior to shipping. 
      If balance is not paid in full 1 week prior to shipping date or age puppy is ready to be picked-up (unless we have agreed to hold said puppy for pick-up for a later date... we sometimes we do this for occasions like Christmas and Valentines, etc,.... ownership of said puppy goes back to Southern Paws Bichons and Southern Paws Bichons can repost said puppy.  All puppies are given a 1 year health guarantee for their heart, kidneys and liver from their date of birth.

       All puppies and adults are kept up to date on all shots and wormings. Adults are also kept up to date on heartworm and flea preventative.  All of our dogs stay indoors with us.  Our puppies are home raised by our hands and all of our dogs are part of our family.  They are raised in a smoke-free enviroment.
